New
England is a vacation destination that is full of history. At many of
our area antique shops. You can purchase some of that history.
Hillsboro west of Henniker is rich
with history. The home of Franklin Pierce President of the United
States is in this town. To the left is one of the antique shops located
here. Located directly next door is the home of the president when
he was a child.
Downtown Hillsboro has many antique
offerings. This is one of them and located just down the side walk
or across the way, are several others.
Further down the sidewalk from the
one above is this gem of a store.
And further down the sidewalk is this
location of treasures.
Across the way from the others listed
above is this collectible heaven.
Further up the road in Hillsboro headed
to the shop listed at the top of this page is this store. A short
drive of not more than a mile, this store may fit you fancy.
But, not to slight the town of Henniker,
here is a place to shop not more than a mile from the campground itself.
You can tell by the architecture by itself, that it screams New England!
And in downtown Henniker
a stone's
throw away, is another fine antique establishment. Not to mention
a 100 yards from some incredible dining, both Mexican and Chinese
and a further along everything else Henniker has to offer.
